Petrobras Best Suppliers Award at ROG 2024
SLB and OneSubsea were recognized as winners of the Petrobras Best Suppliers award, covering the categories of Drilling Services; Well Maintenance and Abandonment Services; and Research, Development and Innovation. SLB and OneSubsea, as a group company, were specifically honored in two ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) categories: Decarbonization and Human Rights. This last award is due to the extended paternity leave. award ceremony took place this Thursday (26/09), closing Rio Oil & Gas & Energy 2024 (ROG), a relevant event in the sector held at the Olympic Boulevard in Rio de Janeiro.

The Importance of Reconnaissance for SLB and OneSubsea
SLB's CEO in Brazil, Thomas Filiponi, highlighted that the award represents a significant opportunity to strengthen relationships and recognize the long-standing partnership between SLB and Petrobras, which has lasted more than 70 years. 'SLB began its operations in Brazil in 1945, even before the founding of Petrobras. The company is our largest client, with whom we have several contracts, including integrated operations in the Búzios Field, the largest and most productive pre-salt field', said Filiponi. Recently, SLB signed six contracts in Brazil, totaling US$ 1,1 billion (equivalent to R$ 5,8 billion), for the supply of equipment and the provision of services in offshore activities and onshore.
