PetroRio launches a webseries that shows the importance of oil in a playful way in episodes on YouTube

PetroRio's goal in launching the webseries "Pequenos Specialists" is to show it in a playful way, in weekly episodes on the company's YouTube channel (https://bit.ly/PetroRioPequenosEspecialistas), the relevance of oil in our society, since, despite being very present in everyday life, not everyone is aware of its importance.

Produced in partnership with Agência Rastro, the webseries features four episodes that delve into the universe of oil and gas, instigating curiosity through the most inquisitive beings, children. Based on the spontaneity of the small specialists, the intention is for the public to get to know the business of PetroRio, oil exploration and production, become familiar with industry terms and demystify the activity.

The name of the webseries “Little Specialists” proposes a joke, as it places children as specialists (a position commonly occupied by grown-ups). They are the ones who bring the fun and spontaneous tone to the content. After all, they are masters when it comes to imagination.

The adopted content strategy deals with the relevance of oil in everyday life, a subject that is rarely discussed by people who are not directly involved with this industry. And, attracted by creative content and captivating aesthetics, viewers will also be able to learn more about PetroRio's universe of action.

In times of a pandemic, entertainment content can help parents to be closer to their children and vwork schedule and routine of the oil and gas industry. “Little specialists” is an alternative to talk about the world's main energy with children and, why not, with adults?

In detail

The casting was carried out with children from 8 to 11 years old, selected with a profile: diverse, talkative and extroverted. In addition to the children, each episode has the presence of a PetroRio professional.
