Panvel, Grupo SKA and ERB inaugurate a solar power plant in Montenegro – RS
The solar power plant with more than 3.000 photovoltaic panels from Grupo Dimed/Panvel Farmácias and Grupo SKA is located in Morro Fortaleza, in the interior of Montenegro. The solar power plant, installed and operated by ERB, has a capacity of 1.127 KWP, with 3.528 solar panels, annual clean energy generation capacity of 1.680.000 KWH and will supply 25 Panvel Pharmacies stores.

Third solar power plant in RS
It is Panvel's third solar power plant in the state, with the other two being installed in Vacaria and Rosário do Sul. The location, in Fortaleza, was chosen due to the relief of the terrain and logistical ease for its implementation.
The investment is around R$ 4 million, which could generate energy for the equivalent of 842 homes and reduce the emission of 196 kg of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Solar energy company aims to reduce the level of carbon in the atmosphere with its new plant in RS
“The Arno II solar power plant is part of the photovoltaic power generation plan to improve Panvel's energy efficiency and integrates with the company's strategies focused on sustainable initiatives,” says Antonio Napp, Panvel's Chief Financial and Investor Relations Officer.
The company's CEO states that one of his main objectives in creating this photovoltaic solar power plant in the interior of RS is not only to reduce the accentuated level of carbon emissions, but also to improve the quality of life of the residents of the region.
