Jeep announced the launch of its SUV Compass 4XE for June this year in Brazil, it is a plug-in hybrid, with the same powertrain used in the Renegade 4XE, launched last year. Stellantis promises one uses a 1,3-liter petrol engine and an electric motor, offering a combined output of 240 hp.

Key Features of the Jeep Compass Hybrid
The manufacturer Stellantis points out that all-wheel drive is achieved by installing the electric motor on the rear axle, while the gasoline engine powers the front wheels.

The most luxurious S model can be had for £40.895. Non-hybrid versions cost £10.000 less. The forecast is that the vehicle will reach the Brazilian market costing around R$ 220.000.
