Total contract Stena Drilling

The drilling contract is for the Laggan Field located west of the Shetland Islands at depths of up to 650m

Stena Don is currently working for Total E&P UK on an exploration well which is also located west of the Shetland Islands. The duration of the contract is around 90 days with potential options and will commence mid-March 2019. Stena Drilling is extremely pleased to be continuing its successful relationship with Total E&P UK Ltd in this campaign. In line with the conclusion of the 2018 campaign, Stena Drilling decided to upgrade the Stena Don with the installation of an eight-point lashing system.

The unit should arrive at the end of this year at the selected shipyard, Damen Verolme Rotterdam, and should stay there for around three months. Stena Don and the team have delivered a safe and high performing operation for Total E&P UK so far this year and we look forward to continuing the same top class performance in the UKCS.

Stena Drilling is hiring

The company informed on August 17 that it won several contracts in the oil and gas sector and has many vacancies for those wishing to work in one of its permanent bases abroad. Scale will be 28 x 28 on sixth generation drilling rigs.
