The Federal Institute of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG) – Diamantina Campus, in partnership with the municipality of Conceição do Mato Dentro, released the Notice 116/2024. This notice offers 840 places for Initial and Continuing Education (FIC) courses, an opportunity aimed at free professional qualification, especially for those in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability.
Course Objective and Workload
The main objective of the courses is to enable participants to formalize themselves as Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI) and develop essential skills for the job market. Classes will have a total workload of 160 hours and will be taught in person, from Monday to Friday, from 19:22 p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., with the possibility of activities on Saturdays and distance learning on some days. During the course, students will participate in theoretical and practical activities, such as lectures, seminars and continuous assessments.

840 places will be offered across several courses, all held in the municipality of Conceição do Mato Dentro. The priority target audience are people served by the Social Assistance Reference Center (TOMORROW), but if there are remaining vacancies, the general population may also register.

Selection Processes
The selection process will be simplified and will take into account the order of registration, without the need for tests or interviews. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of vacancies, a waiting list will be created. In addition, vacancies will be reserved for those who are in social vulnerability, according to the information provided by CRAS.
Registration Requirements
To enroll, candidates must be at least 16 years old and have completed the required education for each course, as per the notice. Candidates must also submit documents such as proof of education and CPF. For some courses, it is also recommended to have access to the internet and a computer, especially for distance learning classes and activities.
