The Federal Institute of Piauí offers opportunities in distance learning courses for undergraduate and technological degrees in 41 centers in the state
The Federal Institute of Piauí (IFPI) announced the opening of registration for the 2025 entrance exam with 4.150 vacancies available em undergraduate and technology courses in the Distance Learning (EaD) modality. The registrations open from November 6th to December 1st, being carried out exclusively through the official IFPI website, according to the Portal o Dia website.
Courses and distribution of vacancies
IFPI offers 83 courses in 41 centers spread across several municipalities in Piauí, allowing students from different regions of the state to have access to higher education. Among the courses available are areas such as Degree in Literature e Technology in Human Resource Management, with durations ranging from two to four years. In addition, the IF offers the following distance learning courses:

Registration and fee exemption
A The registration fee for the entrance exam is R$40,00, However, low-income candidates can request a fee waiver from November 6 to 17, according to the notice. To request authorization, Candidates must complete the application form on the IFPI portal and submit the relevant documentation, which will be proven according to the socioeconomic criteria stipulated in the selection process.
Selection process for distance learning courses
O selection process will be carried out in a single stage, with a writing test in the format of letter of intent . The essay will be evaluated based on cohesion, coherence and textual clarity, and a minimum of five points must be obtained to pass. The test will take place on 12 January 2025 at IFPI centers distributed throughout the state, ensuring easy access for candidates.
After the test, the IFPI will release the preliminary result, allowing candidates to file appeals, if necessary. final classification will be announced on the day 31 January 2025 and will be available on the IFPI website.
