The Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (IFC) began the selection process for technical courses integrated into high school, offering 175 places on the Blumenau campus. Registration, which runs until September 22nd, includes IT, Electromechanical and Mechatronics courses. Aimed at students who are completing primary education, the selection process aims to train qualified professionals for the job market, combining regular and technical education. This teaching model, which is free, allows students to study traditional high school subjects while obtaining specialized technical training. This integration facilitates entry into the job market, in addition to preparing students for future challenges.

O selective process is open to candidates who have completed primary education or are completing this stage by the date of registration.

The registration fee is R$30, but there is the possibility of exemption for candidates who meet specific criteria, such as being registered in the Federal Government's Single Registry for Social Programs or having a gross family income of up to three minimum wages.
Candidates who wish to request an exemption from the registration fee must do so by September 10th. To do this, you must fill out the application available on the edict.
The exemption is intended for people registered in the Single Registry or who have a gross family income per capita of up to half the minimum wage.
Federal Institute selection process
A team of candidates will be carried out through a test, scheduled for November 24th.
The test will have 28 multiple choice questions, divided into three areas of knowledge: Languages, Codes and their Technologies; Mathematics and its Technologies; and Human Sciences and their Technologies.
