The Cambridge Trust program offers scholarships ranging from 10 to 15 euros, equivalent to R$69 to R$103, respectively, per year, up to the full tuition payment for the entire duration of the course. It is possible to apply for courses to study outside Brazil until October 15th.

The Carlos and Gabriela Rodriguez-Pastor Scholarship at Cambridge program, available only to candidates from Latin America, includes full tuition payment for the entire duration of the course and an annual amount for university maintenance.

Os international students Cambridge students will be sent an application form to apply for the scholarships. All applications must be submitted via the UCAS platform, which is a unified application system for UK universities.

Using the system makes life easier for those planning to apply to more than one university in the country, such as Oxford. It is a charitable system created in the early 90s that serves as the basis for applications to most universities in the United Kingdom.

How do I search for courses to study outside of Brazil?

On the UCAS search page, you can search for your desired course. The tool helps those who already know they want to study abroad, but still have no idea where they want to go. Simply select the level of study and the academic period, or search by region of England, for example.

It is also possible to search by country that makes up the United Kingdom. A page will be displayed with the institutions selected by the chosen filter and, to find out the details, simply click on the university of interest, or select the option that directs you to a chat with the institution's students.

To apply through the platform, international students, like Brazilians, in addition to entering personal data, will need to provide documents such as academic transcripts, high school graduation certificates, proficiency exam results and a letter of motivation. It is possible to apply for up to five courses at once.

Requirements to apply and gain access to scholarships

When applying through UCAS, the student does not necessarily need to submit all the documents required by the University of Cambridge. In some cases, these documents may only be requested in a second stage. The university may then also conduct interviews with the participants.

The requirements for applying for scholarships to study abroad vary for each course. As a rule, it is necessary to prove completion of high school with good grades, and demonstrate proficiency in English through exams such as IELTS or TOEFL. Letters of recommendation and a letter of motivation are also usually required. It may also be necessary to submit exam scores.

Once you have submitted your application, you will need to track its progress through your UCAS registration. The system will always notify you when there is an update. Further information about the application process can be found on the University of Cambridge website.
