Suzano Papel e Celulose opens hundreds of vacancies in its internship program for students from Maranhão

In addition to Maranhão, six other states will also be awarded internship vacancies at Suzano Papel e Celulose. Entries open until the 4th of October.

Suzano Papel e Celulose, one of the largest paper mills in Latin America, has vacancies open for its 2022 Internship Program, aimed at students from Maranhão and 6 other states. O "Roots of the Future" program will be intended for students with graduation scheduled between December 2022 and December 2023.

In the state of Maranhão, internship vacancies will only be for the municipalities of Açailândia and Imperatriz. See below the list of other states that will be contemplated with the internship vacancy at Suzano Papel e Celulose:

• São Paulo: Campinas, São Paulo, Jacareí, Itapetininga, Limeira, Suzano and Santos;
• Mato Grosso do Sul: Aparecida do Taboado, Três Lagoas and Ribas do Rio Pardo;
• Espírito Santo: Aracruz and Cachoeiro do Itapemirim;
• Para: Bethlehem;
• Ceará: Maracanaú;
• Bahia: Mucuri.

Prerequisites and benefits of the Suzano Internship Program in Maranhão and other states

Suzano made available around 200 internship vacancies for the following areas: forestry, industrial and corporate. The company promises to accept all students who are enrolled in courses at higher education institutions. Suzano Papel e Celulose will not require students to have knowledge of a second language.  

The Suzano Papel e Celulose Internship Program will offer a series of benefits to students who are awarded internship vacancies, such as a market-compatible stipend, a flexible workload of 30 or 40 hours a week, medical assistance and life insurance , meal or cafeteria vouchers, transport or charter vouchers at industrial units, in addition to the challenge scholarship, which is part of the Internship Program with paid tasks where the performance of students will be evaluated during their participation in the internship program.

Expected date for entry of new interns

It is estimated that the new interns will begin activities in the industry in mid-February 2022. For now, the entire student selection process will be done online, starting with enrollment in the internship program. The next steps will be the assessments, the online challenge with business cases, and finally the interviews.
