TECSCI: Innovation and Technology
In the face of increasing demands for a sustainable future, the MTR Solar Group technology company has invested significantly in artificial intelligence and automation. This aims to optimize the performance of solar plants, radically transforming the way solar energy is managed and produced. With R&D facilities and a manufacturing unit in Juiz de Fora/MG, TECSCI already has a portfolio of over 600 MW in contracted projects for monitoring solar plants throughout Brazil. Solar energy has established itself as a clean alternative to fossil fuels, but it still faces challenges in the efficiency of capturing and converting sunlight.
Advanced Automation and Monitoring
TECSCI recognizes these challenges and is developing innovative solutions that use artificial intelligence to monitor both weather conditions and the position of the sun in real time. This technology enables automatic adjustments to the tilt and orientation of the panels, maximizing energy capture throughout the day. In addition to this optimization, automation plays a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of solar plants. Intelligent monitoring systems are capable of detecting failures or degradation before they cause serious problems. With the integration of drones and robots, inspection and preventive maintenance are performed more efficiently, safely and cost-effectively, extending the useful life of assets.
TECSCI Technological Solutions
TECSCI’s director, Eduardo Pestana de Aguiar, highlights the importance of optimizing solar power plants to maximize energy generation and minimize operating costs. TECSCI leads the way by integrating advanced technologies that enable real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and intelligent management of the energy generated. These solutions not only increase energy production, but also ensure more efficient use of resources, aligning with the growing demands of a competitive market. TECSCI’s figures indicate that more than 4000 tracker controller units have already been integrated, in addition to more than 1,5 GWp of automation projects and more than 500 MWp of commissioned plants.
Digital Transformation in the Solar Sector
According to the director, the digital transformation in the solar sector, driven by companies like TECSCI, opens up new opportunities for business and partnerships, fostering a collaborative ecosystem. This benefits energy producers and end consumers. With an approach focused on technology and efficiency, TECSCI is shaping the future of solar energy in Brazil. The company offers innovative solutions for the evolving solar market: Tracker Controllers, which maximize capture even on cloudy days, Supervisory system (SCADA) which allows effective real-time monitoring and management of photovoltaic assets and Low and Medium Voltage Automation.
TECSCI Strategic Approaches
In September 2024, during Intersolar South America, MTR Solar signed a contract with TECSCI to supply more than 132 MWp in monitoring for solar plants, encompassing a total of 39 plants in the shared generation model. The 'Management and Monitoring Platform' for photovoltaic plants, also from TECSCI, focuses on increasing energy generation, applying artificial intelligence to quickly detect faults and suggest corrective actions to the operation and maintenance team. This system covers all equipment that supports communication via MODBUS TCP/IP, analyzing historical data and predicting future occurrences.
TECSCI: Future and Innovation in Energy Generation
With the solar market booming and a growing demand for Off Grid projects, TECSCI is positioning itself to lead the energy transition. The company works not only to offer high-performance solutions, but also to create significant value for customers and investors, consolidating its position as a player in the Brazilian solar energy sector. TECSCI is at the forefront of combining artificial intelligence and automation to create more efficient and sustainable plants. By fostering innovation and collaboration, TECSCI paves the way for a new era in energy production, uniting technology and environmental responsibility.
