Currently, 482 workers from the municipality, registered at the Opportunities Counter, are working on the project's construction. Know how to get a job too.
Workers registered at the Opportunities Desk in São João da Barra currently represent 58% of the workforce hired for the thermoelectric works of Consórcio Gás Natural do Açu (GNA). The percentage is equivalent to 482 vacancies, occupied by Sanjoanenses in the construction of the project. The data were released this week by the Opportunities Counter, linked to the Superintendence of Work and Income of the Secretariat for Economic and Technological Development.
The space is the source of consultation for the acquisition of manpower, with a register of resumes both in person and online, accounting for more than 7 applicants in a period of one year.
For the superintendent of Work and Income, Sávio Saboia, this number of hires is the result of the actions of the municipal government and the permanent dialogue with the companies located in the port complex of Açu. “We are working so that more and more Sanjoanenses can fill these vacancies, as well as others in the region”, he pointed out.
