Several free courses in the rural area are open for registration in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. The free courses have different dates and locations and are offered by Senar (National Rural Learning Service), in partnership with SRCG (Rural Union of Campo Grande, Rochedo and Corguinho).

About the Mato Grosso do Sul National Rural Apprenticeship Service

The Senar (National Rural Learning Service) was created with the aim of being an entity governed by rural private and employer law, linked to the CNA and directed by a Deliberative Council with a tripartite and equal composition composed of representatives of the Federal Government and of the working classes and rural employer.

Crane Truck Operator (Munck) (24 hours): Mobilizing axis; Information related to worker safety and health and preservation of the environment; Knowing the basic components of the crane truck; daily truck check before work; Daily crane check (Munck) before work; Start-up of crane operation (Munck); Crane operation (Munck); Evolutionary practical exercises with the crane; Lifting of agricultural equipment and inputs; Hoisting agricultural implements.

Operation of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (Drone) - Module I (16 hours): Mobilizing axis; History and evolution of technology; Aircraft components; Flight simulator; Safety laws and regulations; Risks in operation and accidents; Advanced manual piloting techniques.

Preventive Maintenance of Agricultural Tractors (Tires) (24 hours): Introduction – (The mission and objectives of SENAR AR/MS and the objectives of the event, diagnostic evaluation); Information related to worker safety and health and preservation of the environment; Basic components of tire agricultural tractors and their functions; Daily maintenance before work; Basic maneuvers with the tractor; Maintenance of the air supply system; Maintenance of the fuel supply system; Maintenance of the lubrication system; Maintenance of the cooling system; Maintenance of the electrical system; Maintenance of the transmission system; Hydraulic system maintenance; Front axle maintenance and steering system; Maintenance of the brake system; Maintenance of the wheelset system and slip test.

Forklift Operator (24 hours): Mobilizing axis; Regulatory standard NR 31; Forklift – types and classification; Forklift components; List of daily inspections and checks; Operator platform; Activation of forklift controls; Forklift operating techniques; Cargo handling; Stacking, unstacking loads in an open and closed environment; Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift.

Chainsaw Operation and Maintenance (24 hours): Introduction – (The mission and objectives of SENAR AR/MS and the objectives of the event); Occupational safety measures, the environment, new professional requirements and the labor market; Legislation for the use, ownership and transport of chainsaws; Engines; Application of techniques for tuning and maintenance of 2T engine; Safety at work; Sabres, chains and sharpening; Application of techniques for sharpening chains; Maintenance; Cutting techniques; Delimbing.
