Seeking to encourage the use of vehicular natural gas (CNG), the government of Pernambuco, through the Entrepreneurship Agency and Copergás, launched this Wednesday (10th), a plan to encourage the use of fuel in the state. The package has a line of credit called CredAGE Gas Kit. The benefit consists of a R$100 voucher for gas refueling and also a 5% discount on conversions. Measures by Copergás and the Government seek to offer benefits to app drivers and taxi drivers, as well as self-employed professionals who use their vehicles as a means of income.

Financing can reach up to R$ 8 thousand in Pernambuco

Operated by AGE, the credit line for vehicular natural gas (CNG) will have a financing amount of up to R$8 per driver, with a payment term of up to two years and an interest rate of 0,99% per month, for those who pay the installments on time and receive the default bonus.

According to the CEO of AGE, Márcio Stefanni, this is one more action of the Retomada Plan in which two companies controlled by the state government launch an initiative that seeks to improve the income of people who use their vehicles as a way of working. The mission of Copergás and other entities is to reduce the impacts of constant increases in fuel prices on professionals' pockets.

Copergás pronounces on the initiative regarding fuel

André Campos, president of Copergás, highlighted the importance of developing incentives for the use of Vehicle Natural Gas (CNG) by app drivers and taxi drivers.

According to the company's president, at this time of high fuel prices, CNG is an option that everyone is looking for to reduce costs. The entities, under the guidance of the governor, Paulo Câmara, are working to contribute to the return of the state's economy and population.

Also present at the launch were Alberes Lopes, state secretary for Labor, Employment and Qualification, Antonio Moraes, state deputy, representatives of the Fuel Retail Trade Union, among others.

Know who can contract the line of credit for the use of CNG

The line of credit from Copergás and other entities can be contracted by both individuals and legal entities, requiring one year of operation. For those who are app drivers, you must have a 4,7 star rating on your profile and submit app screenshots that prove the rating, number of trips and time spent in the app.

In addition, the activity will have to be legally regularized in the municipality of origin. Those who are interested in registering should access the agency's website. On the website it is also possible to find more details about required guarantees and necessary documents.

The first 200 who contract the financing will receive a R$ 100 voucher to fill up with fuel. Furthermore, those who register will also receive a 5% discount for installing the gas kit in accredited workshops.
