Lathe Operator
Requirements: Completed High School; CNC Programming and Operation Course – SENAI; 2 to 3 years of experience in similar activities.
Some activities:
- Machining parts and components of mechanical assemblies through operation of medium and large horizontal lathes and large vertical lathes, with or without digital position indicators.
- Turning cylindrical, conical, profiled, and threaded parts, based on the operation sheet and detailing of each transformation phase or even from drawings.
- Measuring determined dimensions specified in the detailing sheet or in the parts and subassemblies drawing.
- Reading and interpreting drawings, especially in the 3rd dihedron, of parts and subassemblies.
- Setting cutting data, cutting gauges,
- machine accessories, for the manufacturing of parts or subassemblies.

Mechanical Adjuster
Requirements: Completed High School.
Some activities:
- Performing general bench services, such as precision adjustment in sealing areas, manual thread opening, finishing of general threads, breaking imperfect threads of any type, and eliminating sharp edges on parts.
- Adjusting and/or manufacturing templates based on defined drawings.
- Tracing parts for drilling and/or honing operations.
- Identifying parts, such as: final machining of parts, components, or assemblies with serial numbers, drawing, production order, etc., as requested in the drawing or operation sheet.
- Proper use of tools and work instruments, such as: sander, file, tap, square, caliper, protractor, roughness tester, among others.
