Totalenergies and Technip Energies have reached an agreement to explore new technologies and concepts to reduce the carbon footprint in their liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities and in the offshore market
TotalEnergies, the French oil company, has reached an agreement with Technip Energies to create low-carbon solutions for the production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and in the offshore industry. The two companies informed that they will study and analyze new technologies and concepts with the objective of reducing the carbon footprint of the facilities.

In addition to reducing the carbon footprint of existing offshore facilities, Technip and Totalenergies will also focus on greenfield projects in specific areas such as liquefied natural gas (LNG) production, hydrogen production and use for energy, cryogenics, capture processes and generation, and Carbon Storage and Use.
According to Arnaud Breuillac, TotalEnergies' president of exploration and production, for the company as a liquefied natural gas (LNG) player, this agreement will bring opportunities to generate even more innovation and further strengthen the experience of both companies in reducing emissions. of polluting gases at its facilities, further improving the energy efficiency of its LNG and offshore assets, and developing new technologies such as hydrogen.

Technip create solutions with new technologies involving the LNG market
Arnaud Pieton, CEO of Technip Energies, says that he is satisfied with the new partnership with TotalEnergies and that the agreement will make it possible to unite the experience and know-how in offshore projects and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to boost the transition to a society with low carbon emission.
