Without a shadow of a doubt, the launch of Toyota Corolla has everything to stand out as one of the most popular cars in Brazil. This highly anticipated sedan promises to shake up the national automotive market with its various versions and configurations. With a promising future in the country, the 2025 Corolla promises to be a real sales success and be cheaper than its competitors Honda Civic and Chevrolet Cruze. Yaris cross

It's no wonder that the Toyota Corolla is the best-selling sedan in the world, and the next generation of this model promises to be even more impressive. With its debut scheduled for 2025, the 13th generation of Corolla, capable of reaching up to 33 km/l, may gain flex plug-in hybrid mechanics (the same as the neo Yaris Cross)in Brazil and will bring a series of updates and improvements that promise to win the hearts of Brazilians and further establish it as one of the most desired mid-range sedans in the global automotive market.Yaris cross

New Corolla will be bigger than the current generation

The new generation of Corolla will be inspired by the design of electric models from Toyota's bZ line, bringing a more modern and elegant appearance. Highlights include the “C”-shaped full LED headlights, the air intakes in the bumper and the coupe-shaped roof style. At the rear, the lights will be interconnected and will also feature full LED lighting.Yaris cross

The dimensions of the new Corolla will be slightly larger than the current generation, with a length of around 4,65 meters and a longer wheelbase, reaching 2,70 meters. The model is also expected to be wider and lower, providing an even more sporty and aerodynamic appearance.

Advanced engine that delivers 184 hp of power

In terms of engines, the new generation of Corolla will bring incredible new features. For the first time, the model will feature 100% electric options, meeting the growing demand for zero-emission vehicles. In addition, the Corolla line will also adopt a new turbo engine option, replacing the current 2.0 naturally aspirated engine.Yaris cross

For technology lovers, the hybrid version of the Corolla will also be maintained, with the 2.0 hybrid that delivers 184 hp of combined power. Additionally, the Corolla Sedan will also feature plug-in hybrid options, offering greater autonomy in pure electric mode.

In fact, the Corolla Hybrid plug-in flex would be good news for the sedan manufactured in Brazil. Toyota announced that it was testing this type of mechanics in the country in September, using as a base the new Yaris Cross, which is not yet sold in the Brazilian market.

Technology and Comfort to outperform rivals

The interior of the new Corolla will also undergo a significant transformation, following the Toyota brand's trend towards more modern and sophisticated designs. The interior finish will be of high quality, with excellent materials everywhere.

The interior space will be even more generous, with better accommodation for five adults thanks to the longer wheelbase. The list of equipment will be quite complete, including items such as electronic parking brake, dual-zone digital climate control, panoramic sunroof, front seats with ventilation and electrical adjustments, configurable digital dashboard and a 10-inch multimedia center with connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Corolla is one of the most complete and safe mid-range sedans on the market

Safety will also be a strong point of the new generation of Corolla. The model will feature the adaptive autopilot system (ACC) with stop and go function, something that is not yet available in the current Brazilian version. Additionally, the Corolla will come equipped with a series of advanced assistants, such as collision warning, lane correction, blind spot warning and much more.Yaris cross

All of this reinforces the Corolla's position as one of the most complete and safe mid-range sedans on the market, meeting the expectations of the most demanding consumers.

Arrival of the new Toyota Corolla in Brazil

The new generation of Toyota Corolla is scheduled to be officially presented in mid-2025, with the possibility of arriving in Brazil later that year or at the beginning of 2026. Here in the country, the Corolla is the Japanese company's sales leader, and the expectation is that the new version maintains and even expands this prominent position.

Toyota Corolla has more than 30 years in Brazil! The Brazilian favorite was officially presented in the country in 1992, during the São Paulo International Motor Show, alongside other models such as the Hilux, SW4 and the Camry sedan. Since then, more than 2 million units of these four vehicles have been sold on the national market.
