Want to learn a new language? UFPB opens 350 spots for Korean and Mandarin courses with registrations from March 17 to 20
The Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB) is offering 350 places for Korean courses and mandarin, providing a unique opportunity for those who want to learn one of these languages. Registration takes place between the days March 17 and 20 and must be done by the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (SIGAA).
Mandarin courses are free for adults, covering different levels. For children aged 7 the 12 years, there is a registration fee of R$100. The Korean course, available only at level 1, has a cost of R$200. Servers and students of UFPB can request an exemption from the fee, as long as the request is made on the day March 14, 8 am - 15 pm, through an electronic form.

How does the selection process work?
Those interested in Korean and Mandarin courses da UFPB must register during the period of 17 to 20 March by SIGAA. After registration, candidates will be selected according to the order of registration and availability of vacancies.
The courses have a workload of 45 hours and start on the day March 22 for classes that will have classes on Saturdays. For classes with classes during the week, the start is scheduled for March 24.
Anyone who chooses the Korean course and wishes to request an exemption from the registration fee must make the request on the day March 14, between 8am and 15pm, filling out the electronic form provided by the university.
