UFPB opens registrations in two specializations for higher-level students. There are more than 400 places on free courses for those who want to advance their career.
A Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB) has open registration for two free specialization courses. In total, 425 places are offered in both training courses. Places on free courses are for the following qualifications: Rural education (with 209 vacancies in the face-to-face modality) and Language Science with Emphasis on Teaching Portuguese Language (216 vacancies in the EAD modality).

The free Rural Education courses focus on people with higher education who work or want to work with Rural Education. The course aims to train specialists to work in different educational contexts, capable of contributing to the development of children, young people and adults from a practical perspective with a focus on improving the life of the local community, promoting awareness of the rational use of human and natural resources.
With 209 places, the course will be distributed at the following UFPB centers, where face-to-face meetings will be held:

- Alagoa Grande (CEHAP I Set) – 20 places;
- Campina Grande (Center) – 20 places;
- Pombal (Center) – 35 places;
- João Pessoa (Torre) – 59 vacancies;
- Mari (José Américo) – 35 vacancies;
- Taperoá (Alto da Conceição) – 20 places;
- Itaporanga (Center) – 20 places.
Registration for these vacancies in free courses takes place between April 4th and 10th, 2024 only through the Integrated Academic Management System (SIGAA) website. Those interested in UFPB training must fill out an online form, available on the institution's website.
To fill out the form, you will need to go to Selection Processes > Selection Processes – Stricto Sensu, attach the files described in item 2.1 of the notice and print the receipt generated at the end of the registration. It is worth mentioning that the institution will not charge any form of fee.
Enrollment in the Language Science course with an emphasis on Teaching Portuguese Language
The hubs for the 216 places in free courses in the EAD specialization in Language Science with Emphasis on Portuguese Language Teaching at UFPB are as follows:

- Cuité de Mamanguape (25);
- Santa Luzia (15);

Registration for this Free course They take place between April 11th and 22nd. To do this, you will need to access the UFPB website. The selection of candidates will be carried out upon presentation of the documentation specified in this notice in “2.
Required Documentation”. O complete edital can be accessed on the website. Selection for places on free courses will also respect the temporal order of registrations, starting from the first minute the system opens, for this purpose, on the first day of registrations.
