UFPE has hundreds of vacancies in free online and distance learning courses for residents of 15 municipalities in the state. Those who complete the courses will receive certificates.
A Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), through the Coordination of the Open University of Brazil (UAB), announced the opening of more than 500 vacancies in free online courses. O selective process It has 540 vacancies for post-graduate lato sensu higher education courses at a specialization level in the distance learning modality (EAD), for admission in the first half of this year. Enrollment will begin on February XNUMXst, and can be done until February 22.

The 540 vacancies opened by UFPE are for the courses of Hispanic Language and Literature Teaching, Innovation and Educational Trends and Science and Mathematics Teaching, focusing on the training of basic education teachers from public state and municipal education networks in effective exercise, or who are in management positions in other institutions, and made available in 15 on-site support poles distributed in the state of Pernambuco. This course aims to present trends, practices and current modalities on educational management, the transformations that take place in the governance and administration of education systems and present innovations for the educational market.

Hispanic Language and Literature Teaching
This course aims to make the student reflect on the potential of information and communication technologies (ICT) for teaching and learning foreign languages and on the potential of theoretical-methodological practices guided by the AICLE perspective.
For this, a theoretical/practical view of the applications of ICT resources in foreign language teaching will be offered.
Teaching Science and Mathematics
This course aims to promote and encourage teachers working in the Science and Mathematics sectors to develop a professional culture based on autonomy, the structuring and development of flexible curricula, research in the classroom, reflection on student learning, the development of methodologies and methodological strategies suitable for teaching Science and Mathematics, the development of a formative evaluation process and the advancement of actions that characterize their intervention at school and their teaching work as an autonomous teacher and researcher of their practice.
Municipalities awarded with vacancies in free online courses at UFPE
To enroll, you must fill out a virtual form with your CV, basic data, desired course, face-to-face support center, in addition to including a letter of intent and motivation, proof of activities for the last 5 years, among others.
The courses have face-to-face activities planned, which will be taught in accordance with Decree No. 9.057/2017.
The expectation is that the activities take place in a face-to-face connected format, which takes place through information and communication technologies, enabling synchronous moments that, according to demand and planning, will be scheduled by the coordination of each course. A Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) is one of the best universities in Brazil in teaching and scientific research, being the best in the North-Northeast according to data from the Ministries of Education (MEC) and Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).
