UFPI has vacancies for CEAD tutors! Applications open from March 12 to 18, 2025. Find out how to participate in the selection process!
The Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), through the Center for Open and Distance Education (CEAD), published the notice for vacancies for tutors of the Specialization Course in Training, Teaching and Initial Literacy – 1st and 2nd Years.
Interested parties can register between March 12th and 18th, 2025!
Requirements to apply for tutor vacancies
To apply for the position of tutor, the candidate needs to:
- Opportunity for Occupational Nursing Technician! Sesi has an open position with a salary of R$2.990,73 + food voucher of R$990,00, daycare assistance of R$370,00, private pension and other benefits
- Sicredi offers 24 remote positions, with benefits such as 14th and 15th salary, childcare assistance, private pension up to 6% of salary, life insurance and more, see how to apply for the positions
- Atento is hiring a professional to provide customer support with a salary of R$2.000 for 180 hours/month from 16:20 pm to 22:40 pm and a 6x1 shift. It also offers meal vouchers, medical assistance, dental assistance, partnerships with educational institutions and other benefits.
- City Hall opens 180 vacancies for all levels of education with salaries that can reach more than R$3.000,00!
Have a degree in pedagogy or higher education;
Have a postgraduate degree at a specialization level, master's degree or doctorate in Education;
Have at least one year of experience in guiding literacy trainers and/or teachers;
Be Brazilian born, naturalized or foreign with a permanent visa;
Have 20 hours of availability per week for tutoring activities.
Selection process steps
The selection will consist of two phases:
- Document conference (eliminatory);
- CV analysis (qualifying and eliminatory), considering the candidate's qualifications, professional experience and qualifications.
The final list of those who qualified will be published on the official CEAD/UFPI website (www.cead.ufpi.br).
Tutor's duties
Those selected will have several responsibilities, including:
Support for students in the Virtual Learning Environment (AVA);
Participation in meetings and webinars;
Correction of activities and assessments;
Assistance in filling out the electronic diary in SIGAA;
Guidance and mediation of academic activities.

Required documents include:
Photo ID (valid ID or driver's license) and CPF;
Declaration of authenticity of documents submitted for registration;
Proof of required prerequisites;
Availability statement;
Curriculum analysis table completed and accompanied by supporting documents.
