The new Itaipu competition envisages filling 1.000 vacancies, 31 of which are immediate. Notice already released!

The long-awaited notice for the Itaipu contest has just come out and, in total, the contest will offer 1.000 vacancies of technical, medium and higher levels, with 31 immediate vacancies and the remainder for reserve registration. With starting salaries reaching R$8.902,45 for higher level positions, R$5.071,34 for technical level and R$4.005,76 for those at medium level.

Some vacancies offered in the new Itaipu competition

For mid-level professionals

  • Administrative
  • Security agent.

As stipulated in the notice, for the cargo security agent requires a secondary level and a driver's license in category “B” or higher, in addition to a valid armed escort training course or valid armed escort refresher course, carried out in an establishment authorized by the Federal Police and a minimum of six months' experience in service as a security guard or in a Public Security body.

Technical level professionals

  • Agricultural technician
  • building technician
  • Hydrology technician
  • Electrical technician

  • Mechanical technician
  • plant operator

Higher-level professionals:

  • Lawyer
  • Systems Analyst
  • Support analyst
  • Architect
  • social worker

  • Electrical engineer (Relay Shift)
  • Electronic engineer

Itaipu contest phases

As provided for in the notice, candidates for the competition will be evaluated by the following steps:

  • Objective evidence;
  • Discursive tests (only for lawyer, journalist, public relations and photographic reporter positions);
  • Physical fitness test (only for the position of security officer).

Objective and discursive tests will be applied on the day 21 January 2024 and, for positions that will include the discursive stage, the test will last a total of four hours and 30 minutes. For other careers, the objective test will last a total of three hours and 30 minutes.

Registration for the Itaipu competition and full notice

Registration for the Itaipu competition can be made between the 23th of October and the 13th of November, since the tests are scheduled for January 21, 2024, through the Cebraspe website, CLICKING HERE.

Candidates will need to pay a registration fee to take part in the Itaipu competition, as seen in the notice. The registration fee varies between:

  • Higher level: R$ 119,13
  • Technical level: R$ 93,40
  • Medium level: R$81,01.

Also according to the notice, candidates may request an exemption from the registration fee of the Itaipu competition as long as they are registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) or bone marrow donors.

The fee exemption request can be requested between October 23rd and November 13th.
