The newest creation of the company Videome in partnership with Dell Technologies manages to transmit a classroom experience to remote students, through a robot

Since the beginning of the pandemic, the market has had to reinvent itself in several areas in order to adapt to the moment and provide a better user experience with the help of technology. In education, it is known that it was no different. The startup Videome was responsible for developing the first educational robot in the country, the EduCart. It has a high-resolution 4K camera and artificial intelligence that detects the best framing of the teacher during class and has already been adopted by schools and universities, such as Anglo and Anhembi Morumbi, for example.

The company ensures that educational institutions are able to offer more interactive and realistic classes, as the robot uses the same technology for videoconferencing. Videome's solutions architect, Renan Del'Arco, adds: “Our mobile studio has been transforming universities, schools and companies by delivering a much more immersive experience”.

“All of our monitors and computers that leave here are from Dell. It is part of the disruption process we are carrying out in education,” says Renan, emphasizing the importance of selecting cutting-edge technology partnerships for the company's development.

According to him, it would be utopian to think of rising in the market without having a qualified product. “We delivered more than 900 robots and none of them came back”, he celebrates.

Dell's sales director for small companies in Brazil, Luciane Dalmolin, agrees and reaffirms that small and medium-sized companies must make the right investment in IT, as was the case in the creation of the EduCart robot. “The small company will be able to compete with any other company profile, as long as it has the appropriate technology for its business”, stresses the executive.

According to her, downtime systems are evidence that the selected suppliers may not be meeting the company's expectations. “Entrepreneurs have to be very attentive”, says Luciane.

A software for Information Technology specialists

Dell Technologies is the world's leading seller of computers, servers and storage resources for small and medium-sized businesses. Furthermore, it is the only information technology company in the Brazilian market that offers specific consultancy for groups of this size.

To prove it, there is a relationship program aimed at IT professionals, the Dell Expert Network (DEN), which provides a qualified assistance team with access to support resources and self-management of the customers' IT park.

Rose Brandão, an IT specialist and one of the DEN consultants, says: “Technology supports companies in the growth and sustainability of their businesses and, therefore, cannot be seen only as a cost. Our role is to feel the pain of business and bring that pain to Dell.”

You can follow the chat with Renan Del'Arco, Luciane Dalmolin and Rose Brandão, the three specialists involved in the partnership between Dell and Videome in the development of the robot, about the relevance of technology for the growth of small companies, as well as advice to help entrepreneurs when choosing.
