Naturgy highlights growth of the network and expansion of the Natural Gas network for 2025, investing R$56,6 million to capture 53 thousand customers.
Naturgy has revealed its projections for the future of Natural gas, with ambitious goals for the coming years. The company plans to significantly expand its distribution network by 2025, seeking to win at least 53 thousand new customers. To this end, it intends to invest R$ 56,6 million, focusing on the robust growth of the existing infrastructure. During the SINDIGÁS event, the Metropolitan Territorial Operations Manager, André Otoni, shared insights on this strategy and emphasized the importance of sustainable and efficient development of this energy resource.
In the context of the energy industry, the Natural gas stands out as a cleaner and more efficient alternative for the fuel market. The company sees Natural Gas as an opportunity to replace the traditional use of other fuels, promoting its environmental benefits. Considering that a significant part of Natural Gas is composed of Methane, its combustion results in lower pollutant emissions, making it a preferred choice for many industries and homes. This move not only contributes to energy efficiency, but also to long-term cost reduction.
Company Expectations for the Following Year
The company's projection indicates that, for the next year, at least 53 thousand new customers will be made effective, requiring an investment of approximately R$ 56,6 million. According to the executive, the distinction is not in the Natural Gas itself, but in the service we provide. We maintain a strict safety standard and the partner organizations that collaborate with us are aware of this. This financial contribution is planned for injection into the market, covering the construction of polyethylene networks, internal installations and the acquisition of new customers. Market Growth and Integration
It is estimated that the increase in the number of customers comes, in part, from new buildings, small industries, and CNG sales points, mainly in the residential sector. The considerable investment in network expansion and the desired mesh growth will also benefit trade in these areas. Dialogue and Strategic Collaborations
Carried out by the Union of Electrical Installations Industry, Gas, Hydraulics and Sanitary of Rio de Janeiro (Sindistal) and supported by Naturgy, the event took place on the 26th, at Casa Firjan, in Botafogo. The purpose of the meeting is to stimulate discussions between the production chains, public service concessionaires of Rio de Janeiro and technical materials factories, thus solidifying the participation in Natural Gas Scenario. In each interaction, Methane, as the main component of Natural Gas, will also be considered in the discussions, illustrating the strengthening of the collaboration network.
