WDC Networks and Victron Energy form a partnership to bring more solar energy projects to the Brazilian market with hybrid systems using batteries, avoiding blackouts, instabilities or failures in the electrical grid
WDC Networks and Victron Energy have entered into a supply agreement for the Brazilian solar energy market. With the partnership, WDC will have a greater presence in the national market, with storage options for homes, off-grid, agribusiness and many others. The solutions aim to avoid power outages due to instability, blackouts and failures anywhere in the country. The partnership with Victron Energy allows WDC to expand its operations to the segment of residential batteries, special projects in the transport and telecom sectors. According to the director, the company has several projects in high standard residences, telecommunication towers, systems for highways, malls and even irrigation operations using Victron products.

For the partnership to supply the Brazilian solar energy market to be successful, the company invested in a specialized engineering team and a laboratory for approval of off-grid and hybrid systems with batteries in Extrema (MG).
According to Victron's Sales Manager in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay, Jorge Arnaldo Cleto Ortiz, the battery market is still little explored in the country, so the partnership appears as a great opportunity to expand operations in the country .
