Discover wind turbines that operate noiselessly, at low cost and are more efficient than solar panels.

The renewable energy market is growing significantly in 2024. wind power Around the world, new changes are undergoing that promise to revolutionize the way this energy is produced. In this scenario, the highlights are turbines without propellers, such as the Vórtez from Vortex Bladeless, with a unique cylindrical design that vibrates with the wind, generating energy in a completely silent way. Furthermore, the company Aeromine Technologies has also developed a bladeless turbine, capable of surpassing the efficiency of traditional solar panels, occupying just 10% of their area. Find out more about them!

Propellerless wind turbines could be the future of clean energy production

Wind energy generation has become increasingly present in the global energy market, as it is a renewable source with great production potential.

In this scenario, turbines without propellers emerged, which promise to change the way energy is produced from wind.

Unlike conventional turbines, which resemble large fans, turbines without propellers, like the Spanish startup's Vórtez Vortex Bladeless, have a unique cylindrical design.

This design allows the device to vibrate in the wind, generating energy efficiently.

Innovation in wind turbines brings several benefits to the production of this resource. Firstly, companies promise around 30% lower costs compared to traditional turbines, due to lower installation and maintenance costs.

Furthermore, these turbines can operate in locations with lower wind speeds, expanding their possibilities of use.

Another positive point is the ability to operate without noise, avoiding common problems associated with conventional wind turbines, such as the impact on local fauna.

Companies invest in this new technology to generate energy

The company Vortex Bladeless is already testing 100 pre-commercial prototypes and reinforcing the potential of turbines without propellers for production.

Furthermore, on the other side of the Atlantic, the North American company Aeromine Technologies has also developed a bladeless turbine, capable of generating 50% more energy than traditional solar panels, occupying only 10% of the area.

This innovation not only improves energy efficiency, but also overcomes the limitations of solar panels, such as low efficiency and the need for a large number of panels.

In addition to energy efficiency, Aeromine highlights advantages such as the reduction in the need for maintenance due to the absence of exposed moving parts.

However, the long-term viability and integration of these turbines in different environments are still challenges faced in implementing this innovation in wind energy production.
