With the market demanding more than 800 Information Technology professionals by 2025, several companies are offering specialization courses to fill open IT vacancies

According to Association of Information Technology and Digital Technologies Companies (Brasscom), in its recent survey last year, it is estimated that the country will have a demand close to 800 professionals by 2025 in the programming, development and other sectors. Therefore, there will be 160 IT vacancies per year, in Brazil alone. And for those who think this is a very high estimate, the institution's statistics projected, in 2019, more than 55 IT vacancies in 2021, and by September of last year alone, the sector had already hired more than 123 new professionals. To the words of the CEO of Shawee and COO of Edtech Rocketseat, Rodrigo Terron, emphasize that Brazil would need to create an 'army of new IT professionals by 2025'.

100 new programmers by next year

According to Terron, Brazilians have a generalist profile and this helps them travel through different areas. He gains value for his resilience and creativity in solving problems in the most diverse areas. Rodrigo plans to generate, in his training schools, more than 100 Information Technology professionals to fill IT vacancies by 2023, which is equivalent to 20% of the need.

Currently, his specialization courses in the sector have 25 students, and the executive says that the greatest demand is for senior software developers, who can count on salaries of R$ 12 to R$ 25, depending on the currency he receives , such as dollar or euro.

Rocketseat offers courses internationally

A Rodrigo's company focuses on specialization, with more than half of its students already in IT vacancies in the market. The Brazilian in the Information Technology sector is side by side with the rest of the professionals from all over the world, dominating very important languages ​​such as Java, Phyton, SQL and React.JS, and the company has leading professionals in the main international bigtechs.
