According to the notice, 25% of the vacancies are reserved for candidates who self-declare as black, brown, indigenous, transvestite, transsexual or people with disabilities (PCD), in compliance with Capes Ordinance 309/2024.

The tutor will perform essential functions for the success of the Degree in Geography in the EAD modality.

The expected workload is 20 hours per week, with a response to student requests within 24 hours.
In addition, the role requires participation in face-to-face activities at the centers, mainly for the application of assessments, and in the preparation of monthly reports on student performance.
According to the notice, selected tutors will receive a monthly grant worth R$1.100.

Who can participate?
The requirements to apply are well defined: It is necessary to have a degree in Geography or related areas recognized by the MEC and have at least one year of experience in teaching basic or higher education.

Another important detail is that the candidate cannot be enrolled in the Geography Degree course at UFRGS.
According to the institution, this guarantees impartiality in the tutoring process and avoids conflicts of interest.

The selection will be carried out in two stages: curriculum analysis and technical interview.
In the first phase, experience and knowledge in distance education and digital technologies will be assessed, as well as skills such as professional posture and communication.
The second phase, in turn, will be a web conference interview, limited to 12 candidates.
According to the schedule published in the notice, the results of each stage will be published on the official UFRGS website, with deadlines for appeals in case of dispute.
