Well, I washed pots, cleaned the restaurant, served employees, made salads and coffee, and also helped with the grill. In two months, I went from assistant to stock clerk, and in another month I was promoted to administrative manager. After a few months, my manager Luciene called me and said, "You have a call from Sodexo and the manager is answering." I answered and heard the same manager who sent me away offering me a job for double what I was earning at Gran Sapore. As a result, I thanked her and told the manager that she didn't value me at all and that this happened very quickly where I was. I worked for 24 years at Sodexo...and I am very grateful for everything... I spent 20 years at the same company...then during the pandemic I went to work at another company closer to my home...there were ups and downs...but the experience was worth it...today I am retired.
