Investments and job vacancies in Portugal: Hilton expands its presence in the capital Lisbon
Carlos Miró, managing director of development, Spain and Portugal at Hilton, expressed excitement about the company's expansion into Lisbon, saying: “Lisbon is an incredibly exciting destination, with extensive opportunities of development, and our greater presence in the capital is essential for growth in the broader Portuguese market.”

The new Hilton hotels in Lisbon
Hilton's three new hotels in Lisbon will offer different accommodation experiences:
- Canopy by Hilton Lisbon Praça São Paulo: Located in the heart of Lisbon, close to the famous Time Out Market, this hotel will offer 84 rooms, a café and bar, meeting space, fitness center and parking. The hotel is scheduled to open its doors in 2026 and is the first Canopy by Hilton branded property in Portugal.
- Duo Hotel Lisbon, Curio Collection by Hilton: Scheduled for spring 2024, Duo Hotel Lisbon is a fusion of a traditional XNUMXth century building with a new development connected through a landscaped courtyard. The hotel features 75 rooms, an all-day restaurant, a café, a bar and even a pastry shop with local delicacies. In the evening, the restaurant opens onto the patio, allowing guests to enjoy alfresco dining. The hotel is situated in a busy area, close to the main tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping areas.
- Hampton by Hilton Lisbon Baixa: Marking the debut of the Hilton brand in Lisbon, Hampton by Hilton Lisbon Baixa is expected to open its doors in 2025. With 157 rooms, modern and elegant design, the property includes a rooftop outdoor pool, a fitness center and 250 square meters of vibrant open concept social spaces.
