As much as Rio de Janeiro has experienced a political, institutional and moral crisis, and consequently has pushed away investments, currently the reality is different. Faced with the return of the leading role in investments in the area where Porto do Açu is located, the state is returning to play a certain role in the Brazilian economy, moving from last place to second in terms of job creation in the country.

According to the Secretary for Economic Development of Rio de Janeiro, Vinícius Farah: “We are working together with various secretariats and bodies so that the demands of companies that are investing in Rio de Janeiro are resolved more quickly within the government”.

For Thiago Lemgruber, president of OSX Brasil, Rio de Janeiro is attracting several companies for different investments. “In the last two years, we have expanded the number of partner brands operating in the OSX space and the new moment that the state of Rio is going through has brought credibility to help attract new investors to the super Porto do Açu, as is the case with Aliseo.”

According to Aliseo's director, Leandro Cariello: “Aliseo was born in the state of Rio de Janeiro to be an engineering and logistics company. Our focus is to provide quality services, with environmental responsibility and a vision of the future. The presence of secretary Vinicius Farah at our construction site makes us very satisfied. In addition to transmitting to him some of our investment plans in the state, we had the opportunity to show what we are already doing at present and show the public the generation of jobs that the works at Porto do Açu brought about”.
