Vix, Petrobras' largest onshore logistics operator, will operate in the port of Açu (RJ); companies signed a 10-year contract
Through an initial 10-year contract, Petrobras' largest onshore logistics operator and one of the largest logistics companies in Brazil, Vix will occupy an area of 10 square meters, at the Porto do Açu (RJ) plant, with an option for expansion, to provide and operate cargo logistics equipment, road freight transport, truck rental and heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, lifting platforms, Munck trucks, among others.

According to the director of VIX Logística, Luciano Werner, with the partnership, Porto do Açu customers now have cargo handling services at competitive costs and with excellent execution.
“Today, VIX is recognized as Petrobras' largest onshore logistics operator, providing services for more than 30 years, and we are excited about the possibility of taking our expertise to Port customers as well.”, said the executive.

Advantages of the new 10-year contract between Petrobras' onshore logistics operator, Vix and Porto do Açu
Ricardo De Luca, Director of Oil and Gas at Porto do Açu, highlights the advantages of the new contract: “For Açu, the partnership with VIX increases the installed capacity for moving heavy loads in the port enterprise and expands the portfolio of services offered , reinforcing the one-stop-shop model of our business.”
