About CBios

The CBios are part of the RenovaBio program, which aims to remove millions of tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and boost the biofuel sector, contributing to the goals established in 2015 by the Paris Agreement.

The credits are issued by ethanol and biodiesel producers, and the goals projected for a ten-year horizon gradually advance, year by year, until they reach 90,67 million titles in 2030, according to government data.
