The Air Force has just announced a new public competition for mid-level candidates. Those approved for the vacancies will have a training course and salaries of R$ 1,2.

Registration is now open for the NEW Air Force public competition with a focus on filling 100 vacancies for admission to the Sergeant Graduation Adaptation Internship (EAGS) in the year 2025. Those who are approved will take a course lasting approximately one year, at the School of Aeronautics Specialists (EEAR), located in Guaratinguetá, in the interior of São Paulo.

Positions offered in the Air Force public competition

Candidates of both sexes with high school education and aged between 17 and 24 years old, completed by December 31, 2025, can apply for vacancies in the Air Force. Positions are offered in 11 specialties, of which 7 also require technical training:

  • Electronics (31 positions);
  • Laboratory (4);
  • Electricity (10);
  • Administration (20);
  • Works (5);
  • Nursing (10);
  • IT (15).

The rest vacancies in dispute are for musicians on the instruments of clarinet – bass soprano (2 places), Bb trumpet (1), trombones – tenor/bass (1) and tuba – sousaphone (1). It is important to highlight that during training, recruits approved in the public exam will receive salaries of R$1.199, plus food, accommodation, uniforms and medical, hospital and dental care, according to the notice.

Upon completing training, soldiers will progress to the rank of third sergeant, which currently pays R$3.825 (plus additional fees), and will be able to serve in military organizations spread throughout the national territory.

Registration for vacancies in the Air Force public competition is open until 15pm on February 2nd (Brasília time), via the Military Exams Management and Control System website. The registration fee is R$95, however, it will be possible to request payment exemption.

The objective test of the Aeronautics public competition, which is scheduled to take place on April 14th, will require the resolution of multiple choice questions about specific knowledge and the Portuguese language. There will be application in 15 cities spread across various regions of Brazil:

  • Rio de Janeiro - RJ);
  • Natal, RN);
  • Bethlehem (PA);
  • Canoas and Santa Maria (RS);
  • Reefs (PE);
  • Brasilia DF);
  • Belo Horizonte (MG);
  • Curitiba (PR);
  • Porto Velho (RO);
  • Campo Grande, MS);
  • Manaus (AM);
  • São Paulo and São José dos Campos (SP);
  • Boa Vista (RR).

In the other stages of the Air Force public competition, selected candidates will also undergo a health inspection, physical assessment, psychological examination and practical test, between the months of June and October. The course is scheduled to begin in January 2025.
