The technology adopted by the beverage giant will make the Brahma beers creamier and lighter. The product will be sold exclusively by Zé Delivery

Ambev, the largest beverage company in Brazil, brings something new for those who want to enjoy a cold Brahma draft beer in the tranquility of their homes: the beer in a can that arrives cold at your house. The product resulting from the technology developed by the company will be delivered to customers through the Zé Delivery application, which already distributes drinks throughout the country, according to the O Globo website.

Far beyond a simple launch, Ambev had an important challenge to overcome in order to bring canned Brahma draft beer to the market through technology. Unlike beer, chopp is not pasteurized, which makes it difficult to maintain the creamy foam and the taste of the drink. The solution found by Ambev's Technological Innovation Center, located in Rio de Janeiro, was to combine formulas, technology and ingredients such as logistics and temperature to ensure that Brahma's draft beer arrives cold and with a collar to the customer's home.

Brahma's canned draft beer with Ambev's technology will initially be sold in some neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, such as Botafogo, Flamengo, Méier and Jacarepaguá. Ambev's forecast is to take Brahma's novelty to other states, starting with the Southeast, in the next two months, but logistics is an important factor to be considered.

Aluminum packaging on the rise

Brahma's canned draft beer is part of Ambev's strategy of investing more and more in aluminum packaging, since the circular recycling chain in Brazil is more developed than that of plastic. Aluminum packaging has a more effective circular return, which contributes to environmental sustainability.

Innovation for safety

Ambev does not stop innovating. In addition to Brahma's canned draft beer, the company recently presented the Flow Voice technology at the Web Summit, which identifies whether a person is intoxicated by the user's voice. The technology was created by Ambev to help consumers drink in moderation and thus avoid accidents. Ambev is in talks with transport and car rental platforms to implement the system as a form of safety for the driver.

The future is promising for Ambev. The company continues to invest in technology and sustainability to provide consumers with an increasingly better experience and, at the same time, contribute to a better world in all its brands, including Brahma. Stay tuned for the news!
