Ambev created, together with the “Zé Delivery” app, which belongs to the multinational, a movement to support street vendors with financial assistance, one of the categories most affected by the cancellation of Carnival festivities. “Ajude um ambulante” provides support for approximately 20 workers in this area.

To receive the benefit, sellers need to register and to avoid fraud, they must prove that they carried out the activity in past carnivals.

Upon completion of the registration, the street vendor will already receive an allowance of BRL 150 in a digital account and a code to share with friends and customers, so that they can order their beers at home during Carnival.

The code must be used when purchasing in-app products between February 11th and February 21st. Each time the customer uses the code, the street vendor will automatically receive an additional R$5. The process can be repeated up to 20 times.

In addition, if the registrant participates in a course on responsible consumption, he will receive an additional R$5. If the consumer does not receive the code directly from a street vendor and wants to participate in the campaign, he can pick up the coupon on the website from this Thursday (11).

The names of the participants and the coupons will be available for consultation on the Help a Street Vendor website between the 11th and 21st of this month.

Ambev donates thermal boxes for vaccines

Ambev also announced the donation of 5 coolers, traditionally used by street vendors during the blocks, which will go to health centers to store and transport vaccines against Covid-19.

The boxes for medical use are made of polyurethane and have a thermometer for temperature control. They will be transported primarily to states with lower incomes and larger populations.

If you are a street vendor and are part of one of the categories most affected by the cancellation of Carnival celebrations, register directly on the Ambev platform using this link and guarantee emergency aid of up to R$ 250,00
