The Dislub Ecuador Group entered into a partnership with the Pecém Complex to build a gasoline, diesel and ethanol tank park that will have a capacity of 60 million liters and will generate more than 450 direct and indirect jobs.

Grupo Dislub Ecuador signed a pre-contract with Pecem Complex this Tuesday (17th), so that a tanking park, that is, storage of liquid fuels such as gasoline, diesel and ethanol, is installed in the area of ​​the port terminal of Pecém. Grupo Dislub Ecuador will invest R$300 million, approximately R$200 million will be invested in the first phase. In addition, the venture will create 350 construction jobs and another 100 jobs during its operation.

Gasoline, diesel and ethanol tank park will have a capacity of 60 million liters

According to Sérgio Lins, CEO of Dislub Ecuador, the tank park that promises to generate hundreds of jobs, will have an initial storage capacity of 60 million liters of gasoline, diesel and ethanol, and should optimize the logistics of the fuel market in the Ceará.

Everyone's expectation is that the undertaking will contribute to the reduction of fuel prices in the State in the future. Ceará has been presenting quotations that exceed the national average. According to the company's executive, without a doubt, the tank park, which will create several jobs, will be able to reduce the price of fuel in the state.

The logistical feasibility that exists is essential and when you have a greater storage capacity for fuels such as gasoline, diesel and ethanol, there are more chances of having competitors, generating ever greater efficiency. All distributors in the sector in Ceará will be able, through the tank park, to use the equipment, which will store gasoline, diesel and anhydrous ethanol and hydrous ethanol.

The company's executive points out that the Pecém Complex has unique and ideal characteristics for the Tancagem Park to start operating, generating hundreds of jobs.

According to Lins, the infrastructure of the berths, with one of the best drafts in the country, combined with the fact that the tanks will be installed in a strategic area, without any risk to the urban community, makes Complexo do Pecém the best place to continue and expand fuel distribution activities in the state.

The CEO of Complexo do Pecém, Danilo Serpa, reinforces that the new business of Grupo Dislub Ecuador will boost the market in the state. Serpa also states that the arrival of the gasoline, diesel and ethanol tank park will bring greater cost competitiveness, aiming not only at a price reduction, but mainly expanding the level of fuel distribution service in the state and region.

Ceará has one of the highest gasoline prices in the country

In three weeks, the average price of a liter of gasoline in Ceará was R$ 0,27 more expensive. The value went from R$ 7,40 to R$ 7,67 at pumps. This is the 4th highest cost for fuel among Brazilian states.

The state is second only to Piauí (R$ 8,12), Bahia (R$ 7,78) and Rio de Janeiro (R$ 7,81). According to data from the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANP), made with 196 service stations in Ceará between the 8th and 14th of this month, the value fluctuated a lot. In April, the value was R$ 7,404, on the first of May it was already R$ 7,649 and on the 08th of this month, the value already reached R$ 7,671.
