Wilson Sons Group invests BRL 443 million in works at Tecon and 100 new jobs should be created

The first stage of expansion works for the Container Terminal (Tecon) in Salvador-BA is already being finalized. Currently, the terminal has the capacity to handle up to 430 containers per year and, after completion of the works, this number should be increased to 925. It is estimated that 100 new jobs will be generated with the start of operations at the new pier.

The works at Tecon, operated by Wilson Sons, are already considered one of the largest infrastructure projects in Bahia. At an accelerated pace, the first part of the work should already be completed next April and is valued at R$ 443 million.

Requirements

  • Technical High School in Mechanics

Main activities: Perform preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance and preservation of mechanical equipment on vessels; movement of equipment and its parts using load handling accessories manual hoists, straps, davits, etc.
