Job vacancies are now open to work at the new Mercado Livre Distribution Center, which will be installed in Gravataí, Porto Alegre.

The recruitment of candidates for the 500 job vacancies is being done through Primer RH, the agency reinforces that the number may increase, according to the company's demands. The operation of the Argentine market place will be installed on the banks of the RS-118 and should start operating in the first quarter of 2020. The Mercado Livre CD in Gravataí is the Argentine company's third CD in Brazil – the other two are located in São Paulo, in the municipalities of Louveira and Cajamar. It has 50 square meters and will operate next to where the DCs of Lojas Lebes, Ford, Yapp and Flexul are already installed.

According to Mercado Livre, the unit is part of the company's logistics network expansion plan to increasingly reduce the cost and delivery time of products sold on the portal.

About job openings

Functions are linked to the logistics area and include receiving, sorting, transporting and storing goods, and processing orders and storing information.

The work will be done in one of two shifts, between 6 am and 14 pm (exclusively for residents of Gravataí, due to transportation) and between 14 pm and 22 pm (for residents of other municipalities.

The company asks for a complete secondary education and values ​​the first job, with no prior experience in the area being necessary to compete for vacancies.
