There are vacancies at Petrobras for engineers and analysts, among other careers. All opportunities are for junior higher education professionals, with no experience in the role, who are looking for their first job

This Friday (17/12), at 10 am, Petrobras opened registration for the public tender that will select 757 professionals for higher-level positions, in addition to forming a reserve list. Registration will remain open until January 05, 2022. See below how to register.

This is Petrobras' first selection process in over 3 years

“Holding this contest is in line with the constant assessments we make of our staff considering our business strategies. In addition, it meets Petrobras' need to seek new talent, especially for data scientist, systems analyst and engineering careers. Petrobras wants to freshen up its staff, attracting to the company, regardless of the intended career, professionals with a dynamic profile, focus on technology and innovation, and who want to participate in the challenges that are on the horizon of the company for the coming years”, highlights Juliano Loureiro, executive manager of Human Resources at Petrobras.

There will be a reservation of 8% of vacancies for people with disabilities and 20% for black people (black and brown), as established by law.

The organizing institution of the public selection process will be the Brazilian Center for Research in Evaluation and Selection and Event Promotion (Cebraspe). The selection process will be valid for twelve months, and may be extended once for the same period, at Petrobras' discretion.

The vacancies are for professionals with training in Data Science, Systems Analysis (software engineering, infrastructure and business processes engineering), Environmental Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Equipment Engineering (electrical, electronics, inspection, mechanics, terminals and pipelines ), Process Engineering, Civil Engineering, Process Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety Engineering, Naval Engineering, Trade and Supply Analysis, Maritime Transport Analysis, Geophysics (Physics, Geology), Geology, Economics and Administration. Those summoned will be able to work in any area or unit, depending on Petrobras' needs. 

Requirements: all vacancies are for junior higher level professionals for whom proof of prior experience is not required.

Benefits: Petrobras offers supplementary pension (optional), health plan (medical, hospital, dental, psychological and pharmacy benefit), in addition to educational benefits for dependents, among others. The minimum initial remuneration is R$ 11.716,82.
