The approval is based on the development of the state's agricultural sector. 45 operations were requested from the council, and among the companies, the majority are small and medium-sized, with contracts ranging from R$360 to R$16 million.

According to the Secretary of Economic Development of Mato Grosso, César Miranda, “The approval of FCO Rural loans for entrepreneurs in the State is important, even more so at this moment in which we live. Fostering the local economy means generating jobs and income for municipalities”.

The amounts earmarked for investments come from the Constitutional Fund for Financing the Rural Midwest, which is a set of loans aimed at serving the agricultural and agroindustrial productive sector, aiming to contribute to the economic and social development of the Midwest region.

The idea is that the resource be applied from the acquisition of beef cattle, machinery, infrastructure construction to photovoltaic energy and soil correction. In operations above R$ 1 million, the proposals must be approved by the Corporate Agricultural Development Council, chaired by the Economic Development Secretariat of Mato Grosso.
