About the tag

Transportadora Associada de Gás operates in the transport of natural gas via pipelines.

According to TAG, its mission is to transport energy safely, integrating the natural gas market for the sustainable development of society. The company also states that its vision is to be a protagonist in the transformation of the natural gas market, connecting energy to life.

TAG's representative at the event, Lucas Oliveira, spoke about the end of Petrobras' monopoly and how this fact favored and stimulated private companies that entered this segment in the country:

“We are a company that has a gas pipeline area that is present in ten states of Brazil that works with two systems: The interconnected network, which runs from Rio de Janeiro to Ceará and the Amazonas network, which are systems that are connected to the national network. This market opening, which happened since Petrobras ceased to be the only customer to have access to gas pipelines, provided us with a strong stimulus and provided opportunities for those who want to sell gas to the Brazilian market, signing a contract with TAG and using our networks across the country,” said Lucas.
