This Petrobras FPSO had its hull built in China and will have the modules installed and integrated in Jurong (ES).

According to Petrobras' schedule, finally the FPSO-type oil platform, the P-71, arrived yesterday (15) in Brazilian waters and is already being prepared for the start of the works of integration and assembly of the modules.

The unit will be destined for Campo de Sururu, in the Santos Basin, in Rio de Janeiro. The initial construction of the P-71 was completed on December 03rd in China and approved by Petrobras. Since then, the platform began its return to Brazil, with an estimated travel time of around 03 months, being driven by ocean tugs.

The Jurong Shipyard will provide services to Petrobras for the construction and assembly of the P-71 modules, which represent the set of equipment and valves responsible for operating the FPSO. It is estimated that activities at the shipyard should last approximately 1 year and a half and job vacancies will be generated during this period. About 2 thousand direct and 4 indirect.
