Aegea, a company that operates in sanitation works, will treat sewage in municipalities in Espirito Santo and will generate 3 new jobs

Yesterday, Aegea Saneamento won the public-private partnership (PPP) auction in Cariacica, in the state of Espírito Santo, which took place on the São Paulo Stock Exchange. The contract provides for an investment of BRL 580 million in basic sanitation infrastructure, and will generate 3 direct and indirect jobs in the first works.

The contract runs until the year 2030, with a total investment of 180 million reais and will be allocated to invest in the works in the first five years.

According to the CEO of Heach Human Resources, of the jobs that will be generated, there will be vacancies for the positions of engineers, drivers, machine operators, works manager, building technicians, sanitation technician and much more.

The company Aegea, which already works on the works in Vila Velha e Serra – won the auction and proposed a tariff of R$ 0,99 per cubic meter of billed sewage, a greater discount on the value established in the notice.

In total, 423 residents of Cariacica and Viana will benefit from the PPP. Governor Renato Casagrande was at the auction yesterday. He highlighted the importance of the investment and emphasized that the objective is to popularize sewage treatment throughout the metropolitan region.

According to the Governor of the state, “The state capital, Vitória, has 90% of the network available and more than 80% of treated sewage, the same reality as the Serra. In Vila Velha we have 90% available network and 89% treated sewage. Now it's the turn of Cariacica, which has the third largest population in the state”.
