Participatory methodology of Banco do Nordeste

The construction of the annual FNE program is guided by participatory methodology, prepared under the coordination of Banco do Nordeste and in dialogue with the Ministry of Regional Development (MDR), Sudene, representatives of state and municipal governments and representatives of the productive sector, thinking about the generation of jobs and income.

The meetings for the preparation of the FNE 2022 Program began in June, with face-to-face and online meetings, to contemplate contributions from the various actors from all states that are part of Sudene's area of operation.

The distribution of projected values by state, economic sectors and size of enterprises have already been appreciated by the partners and the prepared text will give rise to the Regional Application Plan, to be forwarded to the MDR and to Sudene by October 30th.

FNE resources constitute a source of financing for productive activities carried out in Sudene's area of operation, through long-term investments, supply of working capital and funding. Students assisted by the Student Financing Program (P-Fies) and individuals who invest in mini and microgeneration of photovoltaic energy also benefit.

By legal guidance, the Fund's resources primarily benefit small enterprises located in areas considered a priority by the National Policy for Regional Development (PNDR), such as the semi-arid region of the Northeast, in addition to following the application guidelines contained in the Regional and Development Plan of the Northeast (PRDNE).
