The visit of Governor Mauro Mendes to the distribution center of Shenzhen Agricultural Power in 2023 was a milestone in the negotiations for the installation of the slaughterhouse. The company, which earned an impressive R$ 150 billion in the last year, highlighted the strategic importance of the agribusiness sector in Mato Grosso for Chinese food security. “We are considering Mato Grosso as a strategic location for the export of meat to China,” said Lei Yu, a company representative.
