Renault has begun series production of the long-awaited Kardian vehicle at its factory in São José dos Pinhais, Paraná. The compact SUV, which arrives as the first car manufactured on the new CMF platform, promises to shake up the Brazilian automotive market. With delivery scheduled for the end of March, Kardian is now available for pre-order online, offering exclusive benefits to customers, according to the Jornal do Carro, Estadão website.
Renault's new compact SUV car will be available in three finishing versions: Evolution, Techno and Première Edition, with prices starting at R$112.790. The highlight is the vehicle's unprecedented 1.0 turbo TCe engine with 125 hp and 22,4 mkgf of torque, combined with the six-speed EDC automated dual-clutch transmission.
Renault design and competition
The Kardian SUV is positioned one step above the Stepway and competes directly with models such as the Fiat Pulse and the Volkswagen Nivus. Its modern and bold design includes elements such as an optical assembly with daytime running lights (DRL) above the conventional headlights, a diamond-shaped front grille and silver details on the bumpers. The car cabin offers a sophisticated environment, with a dashboard with orange stitching and seats covered in gradient fabric.

Renault's new Kardian SUV comes equipped with 13 driving assistance systems (ADAS) in the most expensive version, including six airbags, speed controller and limiter, hill start assistant, rear parking sensors and rear camera.
Electronic stability and traction controls, tire pressure monitoring system, Start&Stop and ECO mode with EcoScoring are also part of the package, along with the 7″ digital instrument panel, the 8″ multimedia center with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and the digital air conditioning.
