CCS Brasil highlights the country as a force in carbon capture and storage

In the next COP 28, a global UN event dedicated to climate change, the CCS Brazil, a pioneering entity in promoting Carbon Capture and Storage solutions (CCS), will give a remarkable presentation. The conference, which will take place in Dubai between November 30 and December 12, is a platform where experts and world leaders discuss strategies against global warming. Representing Brazil, Isabela Morbach and Nathalia Weber, co-founders of CCS Brasil, will present a panel on December 11th, shining a light on national capabilities in the area of ​​carbon removal.

The panel entitled “Brazilian Potential in Carbon Removal: NBS, BECCS and DACCS in the Context of Climate Finance and Carbon Markets” is one of 113 selected presentations that will take place throughout the conference. This specific event will focus on how Brazil can lead in the adoption of technologies NBS (Nature Based Solutions), BECCS (Bioenergy Carbon Capture and Storage) e DACCS (Direct Air Capture and Carbon Storage), standing out in the carbon market and global climate finance.
