The project to build a wind energy park in RN will be implemented with 2W Energia's own resources combined with a mezzanine financing of US$ 30 million with Darby and a market debenture, according to Claudio Ribeiro, CEO of 2W Energia.
For the supply of equipment for the development, 2W Energia has already signed a commitment term with WEG. Riberiro highlighted that the dispute between the interested parties was fierce, but that WEG presented more interesting technical and commercial conditions.

The company plans to build four wind projects by 2024, in the states of Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará, which together will have an installed capacity of 1 GW and represent a total investment of BRL 4,4 billion.
In addition to the Anemus wind farm in RN, the company also has the Aracati project, an undertaking located in Ceará, close to the border with Rio Grande do Norte, which has 260 MW of capacity to be installed and an estimated investment of R$ 1,1 billion.
Within the company's expansion strategy is the generation of energy that will all be directed to commercialization in the Free Market, a sector in which 2W Energia intends to migrate a thousand customers over the next three years.
