Increased demand for jobs in the Call Center sector

For the manager Contact Center, Sanderley Lima, there was an expansion in the number of job vacancies in the Call Center, as well as its service capacity by 99,7%, making up to 1,1 million calls monthly. In addition to serving the population of Piauí, the State Contact Center also includes 6 other states in which Grupo Equatorial Energia operates: Maranhão, Alagoas, Pará, Rio Grande do Sul, Goiás and Amapá.

Lima states that the generation of jobs and income comes from its expansion of its Contact Center in Piauí, thus making 700 positions available also to serve customers in the state, however with the entire concession area, which represents 31% of the national territory. Therefore, job vacancies have already started to be made available, with 150 people being hired and by the end of the second half all will be called.

Vacancies in the civil construction sector will be allocated to the works of the solar plant

A echoenergy, the Equatorial Group's platform for generating and selling clean energy, began work on a photovoltaic solar complex in the municipality of Ribeiro Gonçalves.

According to data from Tinn Amado, CEO of Echoenergia, the sustainable enterprise will occupy an area of 400 hectares and will have an installed capacity of 223,2 MW. In this way, the complex will contribute to the expansion and diversification of the company's energy matrix in Brazil, through renewable sources.

According to Amado, it is a solar energy park, made up of seven companies, with around 220 MW, enough to serve 320 families. It is an investment worth R$ 1 billion, being essential for the state, considering that 1 job openings will be generated in the civil construction sector, in addition to the generation and sale of energy.

The government of Piauí has been a great supporter of the process, both in terms of the environment and land ownership. The expectation is that Piauí develops even more in the sale of renewable energy, in the generation of income and jobs that the sector brings to society as a whole.
